You are bidding on my 2006 Ford Escape Hybrid with approximately 139,000 miles. The vehicle is still be driven on occasion to keep the HVTB properly charged. I am the second owner of the vehicle, having purchased it with 12,000 miles. It has been garage kept at my home and under covered parking at my office. This is a heavily optioned vehicle (lacking only a sunroof) with many desirable upgrades. The vehicle is four wheel drive and is equipped with the factory Navigation/Hybrid Information System. I will include the 3V navigation CD for the region of your choice. I purchased lifetime alignment and wheel balancing when I first got it. Both services were done regularly and just performed again less than 1,500 miles ago. Unfortunately, these services are non-transferable. Oil (full synthetic)/filter and air filter were also changed less than 1,500 miles ago. The few trouble areas on these vehicles have all been serviced and upgraded: the HVTB cooling fans, MECS Pump, the blend door actuator and HVTB battery cable have all been replaced with the upgraded genuine Ford parts. The SUV is rust free. The paint is in generally very good condition and was ceramic coated (Optimum Gloss Coat) last year. There are a few minor blemishes on the paint, including a few on the rear thanks to a texter, but I would rate it a solid 9 on a 1-10 scale. The rear bumper was replaced last year due to someone backing into the bumper in a parking lot, but there have been no sheet metal repairs. The interior is in generally excellent condition as well. There is some staining on the carpet at the dead pedal area, but the rest of the carpet looks new as the floors have been protected with Lund Catch-All carpeted mats since I purchased it. The seats are leather, the front two are heated. The rear seats have rarely been sat on and are like new. The front passenger seat is in excellent condition. The driver seat top and bottom side bolsters were professionally repaired and I paid extra to have matching leather used instead of the vinyl Ford used. Ford used foam padding under the vinyl door inserts on the four doors. The rears are fine, but the heat deteriorated the foam on the two front doors. This is a very common issue with the 01-07 Escapes. I had them professionally repaired, but there are a couple of places where the edges of the vinyl have lifted. I have not tried to glue them back down. The truck has been regularly serviced. The oil and filter was changed every 5,000 miles instead of the 10,000 interval Ford specifies for Hybrids. All accessories work properly and there are zero known mechanical issues. The HVTB charges properly the truck goes into drives in electric mode as it should. The AC blows cold air; the heater works perfectly. I welcome you to inspect the vehicle or to make arrangements to have it inspected. It is located in Tampa, Florida. While I have described the vehicle to the best of my ability, it is a twelve your old vehicle and it is being sold as is where is with no warranties of any kind, either express or implied. A non-refundable deposit of $500 made by PayPal is due with 48 hours of auction end. The balance must be paid in cash or bank transfer within ten and prior to obtaining possession of the vehicle. I took them off after I purchased the vehicle and stored them.2. Yes, this has Ford's "audiophile" sound system. There is a 6-CD changer under the passenger seat and the factory subwoofer in the rear cargo area.3. Yes, there are custom painted matching Ford mudguards at all four corners. I was limited to 24 photographs, so I had to pick and choose a bit. Free bonus: 1. While in my storage unit retrieving the roof rack cross members, I found an extra brand new in the box set of front Catch-All carpet floormats I had been hoarding. I will include those for the new owner. The current ones are entirely acceptable, but now you'll have a new set. 2. I will make sure the vehicle has a full tank of top tier gasoline (all I ever used) when you get it.
