Here is my 1968 Firebird convertible. I've had it for 8 years. It is an excellent driver. Runs and shifts as it should. Goes down the road straight with a straight steering wheel. Not a particularly fast car, but it goes when you need it to with no rattles, smoke, or odd noises. This car gets an amazing amount of attention wherever it goes. I’d give the paint a solid 8/9. No bubbles or ripples that I can see. As you can see, it shines great. I had the top put on when I bought it. It’s only ever up when I put it away for winter. I’ve never gotten it wet (really), but it probably leaks a bit around the edges as they all did/do. As nice as this car is, it’s not a 100 point restoration. The body work I know of includes both rear quarters, the driver’s side floor, and the piece under the windshield. I’m sure there is some body filler, but it’s not a bondo queen. The trunk appears original. The engine and transmission work as they should. It runs and shifts smoothly. Feel free to ask questions. Inspections welcome. It can be controlled with the remote even with the glove box door shut.80’s IROC power steering box for improved feel Internal regulated alternator and aftermarket HEI ignition. Everything works.
