QUICK HISTORY ON THIS VEHICLE - I THINK ITS WORTH READING AS A POTENTIAL BIDDERI apologize if this part of my description goes into to much detail about this Tahoe. It's not my goal to bore you to death but educate you about this truck so you can be an informed potential bidder. So this is my attempt at being brief, yet thorough. Thank You & here we go... I seen this truck when the original owner bought it new & told him to give me 1st chance at buying it when he's ready to sell. I Waited a Long Time asking periodically if he was ready to sell it. Finally got the call & bought it. You see my Father & the Original Owner (his best friend) both worked together at GM "General Motors" as well as my Grandfather. That plant closed sadly but they each retired... So GM & Chevy have been in my family's bloodline for many many years... This may sound lame but owning this Tahoe just made me feel like part of the family. You climb in, start it up, warm it up listening to that 5.7L Vortec engines slight rumble & you just or I just feel great! Its hard to explain (the feeling) unless you owned one & its probably or possibly why people just love the 2 Door Tahoe & why they remain so very popular. Probably people buying one because they owned one, regret selling it & want another. It just feels like a real mans truck & you feel good about yourself. Bottom Line... Its Just The Last of The Full Size 2 Door Chevy Tahoe's & It Just Feels Right ! It can be viewed in the pictures!Excellent running 5.7L Vortec V8 Engine aka a 350 V8 an extremely time tested & proven design truly built to last. This Tahoe has had regular oil changes since day one either on time or sooner! This engine just flat out runs excellent & it actually gets very descent highway mpg. Transmission shifts terrific & at the correct shift points & operates as it should. Issue Free!4WD operates issue free Tires & Front End Alignment I think the highly rated Cooper Discoverer AT/3 tires are excellent in all weather conditions, ride nice, handle & steer confidently. That's what I had installed & they are like brand new! (see pics) All 4 are wearing perfect plus these tires do not make a lot of road noise! Suspension feels good. When I got the tires & alignment done the tech said everything looked fine, if there was an issue he said he would not have done the alignment until parts were replaced. No engine warning lights or codes. Replaced Both Catalytic Converters. They sell well made complete kits with new pipes & flanges & that's what was installed. Also replaced 3 because the 4th screws in on the pipes behind the converters. No Issues Back part of exhaust is original & the exhaust sounds original.A/C blows cool, not cold. It may just need to be charged up. It was a fairly cool day when I tried it. I rarely used the AC because I mostly use this truck only in the late fall early winter. AC Compressor was working which should be a good sign of either needing a refill or could have a slight leak? Not Sure?Exterior is really very nice especially for a 20yr old vehicle. Please Review The Pictures! Accident Alert!!! (1) I was hit in the Drivers Side Door while approaching a tool booth. I was almost at the booth so it was a light impact collision. 4 Adults & 1 Young Kid in their car, I'm in truck & they didn't see me. I seen him coming but I couldn't move I just watched him hit me in slow motion while leaning on my loud horn. Accidents happen, driver was a 17yr old kid from out of state. Probably didn't know which booth to use. It was very minor, no injuries so that's the bright side. DOOR WAS VERY NICELY REPAIRED RIGHT AWAY, I Dont Drive Junk, I'm a picky person! Check The Pics, You Probably Wouldn't Notice If I Didn't Mention it - Even in Person. Is it 100% perfect No, Not Perfect but I'm picky & very pleased with the repair & the color matches. Factory 2 Tone Exterior Paint Combo Really Looks Sharp on This Truck! General flaws & Just Normal Wear & Tear, some noticeable scratches (touched up), small dings, surface rust underneath & normal rust NJ cars get from winter roads, just unavoidable with age. One dent on the vehicle I took a pic (drivers side to the right of the door on/near molding. It really shows up in the pic much more than in person. Plus Im trying to get a good pic of it. To me its not an eye sore & almost any 20 yr old vehicle is going to have some issues unless it was stored in a time capsule. Interior is in overall great condition. Everything works except a few lights on the radio preset buttons. Review the pics - Recently Detailed Included nice floor mates, thick rubber that really cover the rug.This is a non-smoking vehicle! I know for a fact it was never smoked in. 2 Original Keys - 2 Key Fobs 1 Works Other probably need a battery Miles may go up slightly if I show the truck locally.
