NO RESERVE!!! If you’ve been waiting to find a mechanically perfect 1967 4 speed GTO in a stunning Blue/White combination, this is your opportunity. My wife and I have retired and are downsizing, which means that the 3 car garage in our native California is being exchanged for a 1 car carport in Scottsdale, AZ. It breaks my heart to have to part with my small classic car collection, and especially this iconic beauty which is the cream of the crop. Close your eyes and take yourself back to 1967 when owning a brand new Blue GTO Hardtop, with 4 on the floor, made you the talk of the town. Then ask GTO enthusiasts today what there favorite year for the car is and most will point to the 1967 model. From a looks standpoint it is considered one of the best looking cars ever to come out of Detroit, and the quintessential American muscle car. With its coke bottle curves, stainless steel mesh grill, high rocker skirts, stacked headlights and 4 pod dash layout, its no wonder the 1967 model is historically the most valuable of all the years. Adding to the value of this beauty is the coveted original M-20 4 speed transmission, brand new power (front disc) brakes, and Vintage Air Conditioning with an aluminum radiator to handle it’s ice cold output. And the optional hood tachometer and add on gauges help keep this classic on the road where it belongs. It’s not concours, but it is surely one of the finest driving 1967 GTOs around today. This loaded 1967 GTO would certainly rate as EXCELLENT by both NADA and HAGGERTY standards, and appraises at over $70,000: https://www.nadaguides.com/Cars/1967/Pontiac/GTO/2-Door-Hardtop/Values https://www.hagerty.com/apps/valuationtools/1967-Pontiac-GTO?id=87537 This 1967 Pontiac GTO sports a recently rebuilt (less than 2,400 miles) 400 CI V8, 335hp engine that is the strongest running of any GTO I’ve owned or driven, and that’s quite a few. It always fires right with one pump on the gas petal and a turn of the key, and boy does she fly through the gears. She truly runs and drives beautifully and could not be more mechanically sound. And she is LOADED with options. She has factory Power Steering and brand new Power Brakes (front disc) that result in her driving straight as an arrow and stopping on a dime. The optional, original rebuilt M-20 4 speed (3 speed was standard in ‘67) shifts as smoothly and confidently as it did when it was brand new. And the optional hood tachometer and add on gauges keep you informed and are just plain cool. The rear suspension has been redone so she rides down the road with no funny noises. This Goat feels as comfortable cruising 70mph on the freeway as she does 35mph in the city. I only get her out a few times a week for short distances but judging from my occasional out of town freeway trips to the local car shows I would have no qualms driving her cross country. And why not? The seats are comfortable (even for a old guy like me with a bad back) and the Vintage Air Conditioning and upgraded aluminum radiator will keep you cool and comfortable, as the old radio and tape player blasts all your favorite tunes. All in all, this iconic 1967 American classic has been treasured and well taken care of over the years. It has been adult driven and never hot rodded or abused. I can account for the last 37 years (since 1981) and during that entire time the car has always been in a warm, sunny climate. One look at the condition of the exterior, interior, trunk and undercarriage and you can tell the 79k original miles is spot on and the car has been well preserved by a garage and a warm, dry climate. It had one very expensive professional repaint a decade ago, and if you look close you will find an occasional blemish or chip, or scratch touch up. They in no way detract from the 97% of the paint that looks new and shiny, and will in no way prevent you from earning a prize at the local car shows. The floors are solid. The dash, carpet, headliner and visors look almost new, and the trunk and undercarriage are as clean as a whistle. This Goat will make an outstanding driver (and occasional show winner) as well as a highly appreciating asset. Life is short. Do not let the opportunity to own this car pass you by. True muscle cars have three pedals, folks, so please don’t compare this GOAT to all the automatics out there. This 4 on the floor 1967 GTO is the real deal, and valued much higher by the classic car market. And, please, only bid on the car if you intend to drive it, and know how to handle a four speed. It would be a shame to let this GOAT sit and not be enjoyed by you and admired by your friends and neighbors. You will find that people will stop and stare at this shiny blue 1967 Goat with envy, and their honks and raised thumbs will never let up. I hope you can visit San Jose and drive the car, because if you, do I have no doubt you will bid on it. Either way, you will not be disappointed. She comes completely documented, with a PHS report showing her GTO heritage. A $1000 non refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of you winning the car, and the remainder is due within five days. We have had all positives in our EBAY transactions since 2002, so you can bid with complete confidence. On Jun-25-18 at 22:44:03 PDT, seller added the following information: I have a few more photos of the beautiful interior and the pristine, no rust undercarriage that EBAY won’t allow me to add because of their photo limit. Please email me if you would like me to send them to you. Forgot to mention a few things I take for granted. The doors line up perfectly and open and close with ease. The hood also. Also, the wheels/tires are 15” B.F. Goodrich TA radials and have less than 1,000 miles on them. I replaced the battery last week only because it was four years old and so it would start right up when you receive the car if transported out of state.
