***This car needs a transmission repair or replacement.*** The car will go about 1/4 mile shifting through the gears correctly. It then "neutrals out" and will not move in any forward gears or reverse. When the car cools down (or lets the transmission fluid go back to the pan) it will do the same thing for another 1/4 mile before it "neutrals out." If you are a transmission person or skilled DIY'er, this is the car for you. Other than the transmission, the car needs a L rear taillight lens. These are on ebay for about $40. The car needs a battery, as it will no longer hold a charge. Also, the driver's side window does not go down. I'm guessing it needs a window motor or just a simple greasing. The car has a some flaking of the clearcoat on the front and back. There are small ripple dents in the hood. Aside from the things stated above, the car would be a very affordable convertible for someone if you can get the transmission fixed cheaply. If I knew anything about transmissions, I would keep the car myself. Or, if I had more time and energy, I would part the car out. The front seats are far better than those in most C70's. The convertible top works correctly. The A/C blows cold. Everything works besides the driver's window. The engine is in great condition with no issues whatsoever. I have had the car for about 5 years. It has not been running for several months. During that time, I have started the car regularly and moved it around the driveway (until the transmission goes into neutral and stays there). The car can be started and driven onto a trailer.
