I am selling my 2005 Toyota Prius. The main asset of this car is that the hybrid battery was replaced 9 months ago with a new battery. However, the car needs engine work - the piston rings are worn and need to be replaced, likely with the cylinders too. The throttle body also will need replacing, and I do not have the ability to do these repairs myself. The car will require a tow to the end destination to get the engine repairs done and the hybrid battery recharged. In its current state, the engine knocks when driving due to the leaky piston rings. If you are someone who works on Toyotas or hybrids then you can definitely get some good value out of this car. Asking $2000. I have most of the maintenance records and have changed the oil regularly.
