Vehicle Detail
Up for bid is a 1974 Suzuki GT750. Bike was recently pulled from a garage in PA of the second owner. The bike has excellent compression when kicked over, shifts through all the gears, rolls freely, and is all there save for a few small cosmetic items like the gas cap. I can not remember if I have the points cover-I will check in my garage with my other motorcycle parts. The exhaust system on this bike is SOLID. I tried to show the bottoms of the pipes and how they are free from rust and would clean up very easily and nicely. What you see on the bottom seam of the pipes is dirt/grime that is caked on them. In the one photo of the front rim you can see the shine in the 7 o'clock position from just me taking a microfiber cloth to it. All the chrome on the bike would come out VERY nicely if you have a free weekend and some Autosol. I wanted to show the bike exactly as I bought it instead of doing any cleaning. The tank is rust free on the inside and has not been coated, the exterior is straight and dent free. The head has all the fins intact, no cracked off pieces. The seat pan is in very good condition with someone at some point recovering it in a two up motif. Someone at some point sprayed the front and rear fenders with paint. The front fender is shot-no two ways about it. It looks like it came in contact with something that ate away at the actual chrome. You may be able to have it re-chromed if you want to keep it original, or, toss on a replacement. The bike has never been laid down to my knowledge, I can not find any signs of accident damage. The housing around the radiator is cracked but not from an accident as it doesn't have any tell tale signs such as at speed scrapes. Overall, the bike is very original and complete and would make a great project or just get it up and running and have a fun rider.I have sold motorcycles through Ebay that have landed all over-A Commando to Hawaii, a Triumph Bonneville and Trident to New Zealand, a BMW to Connecticut, and a Moto Guzzi to New Jersey. I feel as though I have represented the bike as accurately and honestly, but, if you have any questions/want any pictures of anything, just let me know!I reserve the right to end the auction early as I have the bike listed for sale locally as well. Please do not bid if you have no intentions of purchasing the bike. International buyers are more than welcome and the bike can sit in my garage for a reasonable time while you arrange shipping. $200 dollar deposit through PayPal within 24 hours, balance within 7 days via cash or wire transfer. And yes, I have a title in hand for the bike in my name.Thank you and happy bidding!
