You are bidding on a rare 1953 FORD/MERCURY M350 LONGBOX PICKUP TRUCK. The Mercury line is the Canadian equivalent to the US Ford line so this truck is essentially the same as the F350 with different badging and a slightly more powerful flathead V-8 motor. Mercury's are much rarer than their Ford counterpart as very few were produced and they do not come up for sale often and this one is the rare "ANNIVERSARY" year model for Ford Motors. Totally Rebuilt Engine, with only a few thousand miles on it, new radiator, new battery, and two newer rear tires with less than 2000 miles on them. Front tires show good tread but are starting to show signs of cracking on the sidewalls. This pickup runs and drives excellent. All the glass is in good shape and there is virtually no rust on the body only some welds in a few spots. Underside is clean as a whistle. It will need new mufflers and a rear brake cylinder as the one side leaks and the brakes lose pressure. The interior is very clean but has a seat out of a newer vehicle installed replacing the original I do believe. This is a western truck which spent the majority of its life as a yard vehicle for a local lumber store whose name stills shows faintly on both doors. EXCELLENT PATINA: you won't find a nicer original pickup than this one. I will provide all the necessary paperwork to title in your state of choice.
