1938 Dodge Pickup: Original 38 dodge cab and chassis. Original straight six engine. Should start and run, turns over freely. I just didn't have spark. Before trying to fire it I had the carb rebuilt. I didn't go any further with trying to get it running because I wanted to make a rod or slammed car hauler with a small block instead. The selling point on this 38 dodge is the sheet metal- it is immaculate. There is absolutely zero rust and the doors open and shut perfectly, door lines to cab are dead on. New windshield, front roll out crank for windshield rebuilt and oiled so windshield opens and shuts smoothly. Bench seat recovered in black vinyl. Just a beautiful truck with the nicest body you will ever run across. The reason this 38 is in the condition it is, is due to the fact that a previous owner fully restored it 30 some years ago and it has been stored and used for parades and events only since then.
