1968 Ford Mustang GT/CS California Special 1 Family Owned Westcoast Car V8 302 4 Barrel J Code Verified 106,000 Original Miles 5 Day No Reserve Auction Up for a very rare No Reserve 5 day auction is a 1968 Ford Mustang GT/CS California Special This is a very original and very solid 68' that has been in the same family since it was brand new, it is listed in the California Special Mustang Registry and its book The car was purchased new by my grandmother at Haberfelde Ford in Bakersfield California, she passed away in 2004, the car was inherited by my dad, it is now being offered for sale for the first time ever because he is ill and we dont have the time to enjoy the car and could use the funds for his hospital bills The car has its complete original drivetrain which includes its original V8 302 with its original motorcraft 4 barrel carburetor, the transmission is its original C4 automatic, and factory options include power steering, power disc brakes, air conditioning that does kick on and blow but not cold, and also an AM radio The car starts right up and sounds great, we just had the car tuned up, it is a true joy to drive and really does capture the nostalgic feeling of a classic muscle car, she shifts smooth, and stops great, and is alott easier to enjoy with its power steering The body on the car is in very good and solid overall shape, it does have a small amount of paint bubbling on the driver side fender and a very small amount on the driver side door which is pictured below, the gaps on the fenders and doors are good, the doors shut perfectly, and the vinyl top is in excellent shape with no bubbles rust or issues The interior is in gorgeous condition and is 100% complete, the seats have no rips or cuts, the headliner is in good condition, as well as the dash pad door panels and carpet The undercarriage and trunk is nice and solid shape with all original sheetmetal Overall this car would be a great california special to enjoy right away, it is a turn key car that runs great, the interior is perfect, it would be very difficult to find a more original california special mustang in such solid condition If you have any questions or would like any additional photos feel free to contact me at anytime (480) 939-7422 Also the car comes with a new original ford GT/CS stripe kit in whiteAlso i am asking for only serious bidders that are ready to buy if needed shipping would be the buyers responsibility I have a clean title for the car I am selling in as is condition Only accepting cash or bank wire transfer A deposit in the sum of $650.00 will be due within 24 hours of the auction ending and will be non refundable to hold the vehicle Please view all of my photos below and good luck on bidding!
