Vehicle Detail
I purchased this vehicle 3 years ago with 17,000 miles and used it as my daily driver up until a couple of months ago. It had been hit high on the left fend and we replaced the following parts:Fender, Strut, Wheel, front bumper cover, core support grill, door, driver air bag, passenger roof bag, flashed the SRS computer and repaired the following parts: hood.Did a frame check and no damageI then was involved in a hit and run in a parking lot that put a small crease in the right rear quarter which I have not repaired. You can see it in the pic. We had tape on it so the bumper cover stayed in place. It has also had the rear bumper replaced before I purchased it.And then..............it has some slight hail damage that you can't see from 15 ft. I received an estimate of $600 to fix all the hail damage but I was instead waiting for a hood and rear deck lid to show up at a pull and save for $40 each. Engine had oil changed every 3,000 miles and Mystery Oil added every two oil changes. Engine runs excellent as does transmission and differential.Everything works, radio, heater, ac, mirrors, power seats, power windows, cruise control, abs.New front brakes. The car has a salvage title from the accident. It is not perfect but is excellent transportation. Please ask any questions you may have before bidding. In the last week, the air bag light has come on. Scanner says it is the drivers side steering wheel clock spring. It will be repaired before purchase. 1. It is a Colorado salvage Title. When the car is wrecked or stolen, it is given a salvage receipt by the state. After it is repaired, you trade the receipt into the state of a salvage title which is exactly like a regular title except that it says salvage at the top of it and I must file a document that I told you it was a salvage title. 2. There are no liens on the car. I own it free and clear. I can't remember if it is in my companies name or my name personally, but I will transfer to my name personally if someone wants that. 3. There are no owners manuals but there is a spare, jack, and lug nut handle. 4. I only have one key with a transponder and remote fob. I have a second key, but it will only allow someone to get in the vehicle, not start it. It does not have a transponder. 5. I do not have any receipts for the repairs as they were done over 2 years ago. The strut housing, the hub bearing and possibly the plastic core support were new; everything else was OEM and purchased from one or more salvage yards. Everything was bolt on and we did the work but had the paint done by a professional painter. 6. I mentioned getting a hood and deck lid from a u-pull yard for $40-50 each. The hail damage is so slight that I wouldn't spend the $600 to get it fixed right now and would wait until black parts come into a yard and save yourself $500. I am not supplying the parts unless a yard gets the correct color parts before the auction ends.If your looking for perfect paint, this car is not for you. To get all the small things fixed is going to cost $1,000; but the price reflects the starting price. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask but please don't ask to sell it outside of Ebay.
