Vehicle Detail
This CB77 “Superhawk” was built in 1968, which was the last year of their production. The bike uses Honda’s 1st overhead cam twin putting out 27.4 hp at 9,000 rpm for a top speed of 90 mph using a 4-speed transmission. It weighs 398 pounds wet. The only thing not stock is that it has the flat style handlebars from the earlier version of the bike made in 1961-1962. Look closely at the pictures. There is only one blemish cosmetically on the top of the transmission case where gas leaked down onto it. This is a collector quality bike. Everything is there down to an OEM rear mudguard flap that’s perfect. The paint is perfect everywhere. No scratches, bubbling, dents, or fading. The chrome tank covers, headers, and mufflers are perfect. Bright and shiny and no dents. The OEM tank rubbers are not worn. The chrome trim ring around the speedo-tach is also perfect. I have 9 bikes and have had up to 12 at one time. I can’t stand to have anything wrong with any of the bikes and there’s nothing worse than buying a bike and finding out when you get it that there are little things wrong with it that really need to be fixed for it to be “right”. Whoever buys this one will get a bike that’s pretty much like new. Bike starts readily. No long cranking. Just pull up the choke and hit the button. No pops or backfires. No running issues of any kind.
