I am selling a 1998 Chevy Blazer, 4.3 4 door, 2 wheel drive. 153,161 on the odometer. This was my fathers truck. It was running and driving (was his daily driver) and was having an ECM or distributor issue. He replaced the ECM, but he passed away unexpectedly before he could complete the work. I’m guessing it needs to be programmed, and may need some other work to run but I do know the engine/transmission was solid. It’s been sitting since last year. The starter will crank away (dead battery, needed a jumpstart) and it started briefly once, then stalled and wouldn’t do it again. Body and interior are in pretty decent shape. Typical clear coat issues in paint, interior could use cleaning but in fair to good condition. Tires are good, spare included. Will need to be towed away.
