1974 Honda CR 250M

This 1974 Honda Elsinore 250 was purchased from the original by me 10 years ago. This bike was in fair shape but needed to be restored. I had always wanted this model so when I bought this bike I made sure all of the details were done to bring the bike back to excellent condition. This engine was rebuilt by Bill West, the engine was in such good condition that the original piston and cylinder were still with in the factory specification so only a new piston ring was installed. When the engine was rebuilt I had the cases, cylinder, and head powder coated. The side cases were powder coated and the left case has some pitting along the bottom. The exhaust pipe is not perfect but is in very good condition, no major dents or heavy dings (I would rate it at 8.5 out of 10). The frame was paint to match the original black finish. I had the tank restored to its original painted green and brushed aluminum finish and new decals applied. There are two very minor depressions on the right side of the tank, you don't see them but you can barely feel them. The seat has new foam and a new cover. The front fender and the side panels are original and have been repainted. The rear fender is a reproduction but I have the original rear fender that has been restored and painted and goes with bike to the new owner. Since this bike was going to stay in my collection I had the rims and the triple trees polished, but over the years the spoke nipples are showing some rust spotting. All the nuts and bolts have been zinc plated. New Chang Chen motor cross tires have been mounted. New cables have been installed with the rear cable being NOS. The trans has new oil in it but gas tank has never had any gas in it. The ignition coil is not original but I have the original coil and it goes with the bike The only reason I am selling this bike is that I have two kids in collage and I need to pay off this semester's tuition. I do have the original pink slip form the original owner but bike is not in the DMV system anymore.All reasonable offers considered
