Vehicle Detail
Here is a beautiful one owner, low mileage, accident free, Lincoln Aviator with just over 77,000 miles on it. This is a very rare Kitty Hawk edition. Only 865 made. Heaven knows how many are still out there. Plenty of life left for sure. It has a perfect car fax and is available if you want it. The Carfax says it has had two owners, but I personally know the previous owner, and he bought it new and later transferred it into his wife's name. I can't say it was never driven in the winter because the owner told me on occasion it was when his every day vehicle was down. For the most part he says it was usually put away for the winter. I included pictures of the underneath that shows some surface rust, but everything is very solid. This baby is awesome. The only flaws I have seen are the tailgate has the same crack in the plastic that almost all Aviators Explorers and Mountaineers of that era have. See the picture of it. A small fingernail size dent on the hood that has a little touch up paint on it. There is a very small stone chip in the windshield (No cracking), and the only other flaw is he told me on occasion the 6 disc CD changer doesn't like to eject all the discs. The stereo works other than that. But if you still own CD's and this is a deal breaker you may need to put a new stereo in.Runs drives and shifts like a finely tuned machine. It has a 4.6L 302 HP V8 and gets down the road.On May-03-18 at 12:49:03 PDT, seller added the following information: After closer inspection I did find there is some UV fade at the tops of both front doors. I added pictures of the drivers door which is the worst, but they are similar. Also keep in mind this is a 15 year old vehicle and it does have a few very small door dings that will happen if its parked in parking lots over that span of time. I tried to take pictures of that as well but they just won't show in the photo. To answer some questions that have been asked. It does not have DVD or Navigation. It does have Heated & Cooled seats. It has a Class 3, 2 inch Hitch. Asked what makes it a Kitty Hawk.. Performance wise and drive train is the same. The Kitty Hawk just had some cool trim added. Kitty Hawk Special Edition To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Wright Brothers' 1903 flight at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, and the 100th anniversary of Ford Motor Company, Lincoln created a "Kitty Hawk" limited edition of the Aviator; it was the official vehicle of the 2003 EAA Countdown to Kitty Hawk. Along with special Kitty Hawk badging and trim, the limited-edition vehicles were fitted with special wood trim which is mink zebrano, argent painted and chrome grille, and a rear spoiler, chrome exhaust tip, chrome wheels, xenon (HID) headlamps, black premium leather heated/cooled seats with Kitty Hawk logo embossed on front seat backs, black carpet floor mats with stitched Kitty Hawk logo, available only in black exterior color.Hope that helps to clear some things up. Thanks for looking.
