1957 corvette, engine casting 3731548 date H187 no code (block decked), cylheads cast # 3740997 date G 37,manifold casting 3739653, distributor 1110891, all these numbers are correct for this corvette which was built on the 26th or the 27th of August 1957. The engine has been overhauled, the heads have new valves, and I will include a correct 4 spd trans with the correct shift plate and incorrect shifter if desired. the original bell housing, clutch, 3 speed trans, shifter, and driveshaft are included. The car sits on usable 14" wheels and tires, but 5 correct 15" wheels are included. The car had no radio and the correct block off plate is installed. 57 corvettes without radio do not require ignition shielding. The shielding is included if desired. As mentioned above, the carbs look correct but have the wrong stamping #s, the generator is missing the tach drive assembly, The harmonic damper is missing (original fan,radiator and pulleys included), air cleaners are missing, and the right exhaust manifold is incorrect. The body has no damage, and the frame and suspension have only surface rust. The exhaust is shot and needs replacement. The gauges are all there, the seats are reupholstered, original hubcaps and new convertible top material are included. The key is in it and the locks are all included. The car is mostly disassembled. I hired someone to install the engine,trans, radiator, and hood. The rest of the stuff can go in a box or the trunk. Only enough bolts were used to keep the engine from falling out.since you will need new correct bolts throughout. The cam and lifters are NOS so I did not include the old rocker arms. Nothing is hooked up on the engine. No gaskets are included except the pan and head gaskets are OK.
