Cancer forces reluctant sale of my beloved 1982 Corvette. Make my misfortune your benefit!It is best described as being in "out-in-the-barn" condition and being the kinda guy I am, I'll give you the good, the bad, and the ugly.The good, it is pretty much intact and only has 80,414 miles on it and I have no reason to doubt those are not correct. While I've only had it a few years, each spring, it has started without issue, angst, or gnashing of teeth.The T-tops do NOT leak! Yes, I know, it's a unicorn!It runs, it drives, it stops.The bad, it is damned near 40 years old and I have no idea how it was treated before I got it. The last time I had it out, the transmission began slipping badly, hence I strongly suggest the transmission be rebuilt. The listed price reflects my recognizing and disclosing this fact.It also suffers from the same problem nearly all of the Cross-Fire Injection Chevrolets had, the fuel pump runs continuously, eventually ending in a flat battery. I resolved this by putting a fuse in the circuit and when I reach my destination, I remove the fuse! Again, disclosed and price reflects.The ugly, somewhere in the past nearly 40 years, something rolled into the right front fender cracking the glas. Again, disclosed, price reflects condition. The vehicle can be inspected prior to end of auction, if you need to ship the truck, those arrangements will be your responsibility as I'm already disappointed enough in having to sell this car, please don't make me help with having it shipped! The car is advertised locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early pending local sale. PAY ATTENTION TO THE BOLD PRINT! I require a $500 paypal deposit at end of auction. I have had horrible experiences with trying to sell vehicles via eBay and NO one seems to bother to even consider complying with the terms of the auction and one of my terms is that a non-refundable deposit must be made immediately at the end of the auction, or there is NO DEAL!
