This is a beautiful, all original, unmolested example of the iconic Volvo 240 wagon. I purchased this car from the original 92 year old owner. The car was always garaged from new and was dealer maintained from day one. Included with the sale is a documentation binder containing a complete history of the car. It includes the window sticker, original purchase order and a receipt for all maintenance ever performed right up to the Vredestein Sprint Classic tires I just had installed. Timing belt was done 10k ago. Brakes/rotors are new as is the battery and all tune up parts. This car shows, runs and drives perfectly. The AC puts out 40f cold air. The blue cloth interior and white headliner are in perfect condion. The factory white paint is almost perfect. There is a scratch on the front passenger door just below the window and a scrape near the gas filler door. Both happened during a minor tangle with the snowblower in her garage. Whoever wins this auction will receive a fantastic, rugged wagon with a lot of service left in it. Connecticut will not issue a title for vehicles over 20 years old. This vehicle is being sold with a bill of sale and copy of current registration.
