This one-owner 2006 Nissan Maxima has been locked away in a barn ever since the owner died a few years ago, and I really wondered why his widow was willing to sell it so cheap. Maybe she just couldn't stand the sight of it because of her husband's sudden passing and it reminded her of him. That's what I figured anyway. I was wrong. When I test drove this car, it ran great. The transmission shifted smoothly and perfectly from gear to gear; everything was fine. Just before I got home though, it started acting up. Suddenly there was nothing after second gear. Third gear completely disappeared and I had to have the car towed the last five miles. So there you have it. That's the reason she sold it to me so cheap, and the reason this is a no reserve auction. Her husband had good taste though. This is an absolutely beautiful car, equipped with heated power seats, power windows and locks, self-dimming rearview mirror, cruise, AM/FM with cassette player and multi-disc CD changer, keyless remote, automatic headlights, tilt wheel, climate control, alarm system, tinted windows, and much more.
