Runs and drives great! 50+ MPG highway! With just over 135,000 ORIGINAL miles, this diesel Golf has MANY more to go! This turbo-diesel engine is legendary- and has been known to reach 500,000+ miles! Smooth-shifting, tight clutch, strong diesel engine- This sweet Golf could outlive you! We have absolutely loved owning this Golf, but as it turns out my daughter doesn't want to drive a stick through high school. Cosmetically, this Golf is in okay condition. If you are looking for a pristine show-worthy vehicle, this one probably isn't for you. When looking at it up close, you'll definitely find some scratches, and dings. Looks great from 10+ feet away. Most of the wear and tear is on the drivers side of the vehicle. The black paint hides a lot of it well though! The worst of the damage is on the hood- it is scratched and dented severely on the front. There is also a big dent on the drivers side quarter panel. The good news is I have a brand new hood and quarter panel that will be apart of the auction. (See pics) They are both black in color. Another cosmetic flaw is that the clear-coat on the roof has faded, and will need attention. There is also a plastic piece missing around the drivers seatbelt latch, sometimes the seatbelt light will come on intermittently. The part is $10 to replace, and does not effect functionality or compromise safety. Purely a cosmetic flaw. Our plan was to replace the damaged hood and panel, and have the vehicle repainted. Do with it as you will, even if you just used the replacement hood and fender without painting it, it wouldn't look too bad. Anyways, mechanically everything works great! Recently had a tune-up, (as the vehicle hasn't been a daily driver for about a year) and a small oil leak fixed. (New OEM Valve Cover Gasket) She runs great now! Brand new tires! Everything else works great, too. Cold AC, hot heater, HEATED seats, power sunroof, power windows, great Monsoon sound system, etc. $500 deposit will be accepted through Paypal ONLY. The remaining balance MUST be paid with cash in person, or a bank wire. NO exceptions! Buyer is responsible for shipping, including the cost of that. I am more than willing to work with whatever company you choose. I have tried to be as accurate as possible describing this great car. It will be sold AS-IS, with NO warranty whatsoever.
