There are NA and Automatic Conversions for sale so check what the car came with originally and what transmission is in it before you buy. In addition to the engine and transmission the turbo model had different features such as bigger brakes and the 6 speed came with a stronger rear differential. Here is how you can check the VIN. http://mkiv.com/techarticles/read_vin/supravin.htmlCheck the VIN tag on the driver door for the transmission code. I am not a dealer or car flipper. This has been my personal car. My son has started racing motocross. We are traveling a lot, it is getting expensive, and we need a toy hauler trailer. Other than taking the car around the block every month and a half the car has been sitting garaged and covered for the last couple of years so it is time to go.
