Here is my 2001 jeep grand cherokee that i bought from a local mechanic 1 1/2 years ago. These cars with the famous 4.0 litre motor that every jeep owner knows are reliable cheap to fix and great in all weather. This is my third jeep every time i buy a sports car i buy a jeep to use as a daily driver. I had a 1997 jeep sold it with 285,000 miles still running i bought a 1998 used it for work bought a srt8 jeep then sold it at 300,000 miles to a friend still running . I bought a zo6 corvette so i bought this 2001 jeep but now i have 4 cars in a driveway that holds one car and a garage so i need the space. If you look at my feedback i am as honest as they come and will describe the vehicle as clear as i can i am not a mechanic but i have had three of these jeeps and know the common issues and they have been addressed during the course of my ownership. Gas tank jeep recall has been fixed. car is great if you need a reliable daily driver or want to lift it .. The good The car has fairly new tires front and back.new alternator and batterynew radiatornew power steering pumpfront and rear rotors with new pads front and back.crank position sensor put in.new shocksnw radio with CD thule racks on top2 inch wheels spacerstop rack mount lightnew oem fog lightsoil gets changed every 2000 milesAC is cold and works great all power windows and seats work as they shouldthe heat works and is hot rear hitchwindow rain deflectors on all four doorsnew rear mufflerweathertech mats front and back Issues i know of ABS light has been on since i bought the car and i know the abs works because in the snow this year i felt the pulsating breaks when i stopped the car stops as it should so could be a sensor. Check engine light has been on for front O2 sensor it has been replaced as well but two other codes popped up for evap codes. when its super cold out or upon start up sometimes i will get a cold ticking like a valve tab when the car warms up its goes away. common issue from what i understand on the jeep forum drives fine on highway and driven this car back and forth one hour one way to work and a few trips to NC with family . normal scratches and a few lil dents in the rear hatch door and of course the normal wear and tear of the interior but no rips or tears in seats. needs some work as you can see but for daily driver or have truck lifted this truck would be great if you give it some love like i did. thanks for looking open to any offers.
