I am selling a 1997 Ford F-150 extended cab, Lariat edition. It runs and drives, but has issues. I believe the EGR/catalytic converters needs to be replaced. It has a small skip when running, and will go highway speed but randomly loses power and/or shuts off. It restarts every time though. It has new plugs, wires, coils, alternator, fuel filter, intake gasket, and fresh oil/filter. Starts up every time but just has trouble revving to high RPM range. The exhaust is rusted, muffler has a large hole and the catalytic converters are probably clogged. It needs both power window motors replaced ($25 each on ebay) and the 3rd door doesn't open (broken cable) There is no radio. I’ve owned and driven it for the last 12 years, and it’s been very reliable up until this point. Interior is in good shape, the driver seat and headliner show wear consistent with age. The body and paint are in pretty decent shape (the truck is dirty, as you can see. It’s not rusted, just dirty) The windshield has a crack from end to end, across the bottom. It’s been like this for 10 years, it won’t get worse and isn’t in the driver field of vision. It wouldn’t take much to get it running perfect again, but I simply don’t have the time to do it. I’m moving on to something newer. This will make a nice, solid work truck for someone, the motor has plenty left. Buyer accepts it as is, as seen.
