1972(03/71 build date) S4 Lotus Elan Drophead Coupe (Convertible) Clear Maryland Title in my name I bought the Elan in 2012 presented as a "Sprint tribute" edition. The mods included Big Valve Head motor with dual Dellorto Carbs and front hood modification. The VIN is 0147K matching in the door, title, dash, in both door panels and probably other areas. The frame has NO rust and the bottom of the floors and trunk are very good condition. One 3"x4" weld patch is visible on the passenger front suspension. The first photos show the car when I bought & drove it. I commissioned a Club favorite body shop to repair fiberglass cracks from someone backing into it. The recent body shop work is very good in most areas. The nose will require a little shaping under the deck to make the front bumper fit correctly(bumper brackets needed). The passenger door and a couple areas remain in the "sprint' color, so additional work needed. Body work shown with black gel coat primer was completed 2014, and the Lotus remained in the corner of the shop until the shop closed 12/17 and I was able to get the car back. Interior needs completion. Included: Windshield and new rubber gasket, original exhaust (and new header in box), rear light frames, door window frame and glass, the hardware removed for body and paint, the seats, gas tank(cleaned and painted), both bumpers to paint, five knock off wheels, dated Continental tires, door panels, several new & additional parts No radio.
