1970 Chevelle SS Project Car. Factory Air Conditioned, D88 Stripes, ZL2 Hood, True SS 396 Big Block Car. Documented with Build Sheet. Red / Black Vinyl top / Black Interior / Black Stripes As you can see in the pictures, this 48 year old beauty needs a restoration. There are some rust holes in the floor, trunk, and cowl shoulders...but I believe the car is a great starting point of a car to restore. Car has no engine (ok, well, there is an old junk 307 block in place [no heads or intake] holding up the trans.) I *may* have a lead on the original engine, but no guarantees. Original M40 (Turbo 400) is still in the car. Original 12 Bolt rear is still in the car. Front Disc Brakes. Will need front-end sheet metal (see pics). Original hood (cowl-induction) with flapper is included with sale. There are some parts included (not in pics). [wiring harness, fan shroud, rear bumper SS rubber, calipers, driveshaft, grille w/emblem(broken), master cylinder, water pump, wiper motor, manual] Interior is 90%+ complete, but will need to be restored. Carpet has been removed, and headliner is torn and sagging. Car is located in area code 18103. Winning bidder must pick-up car within 1 week, unless an arrangement is made with me. Tires hold air, Car rolls and steers easily. Brake system partially disassembled [so no brakes]. Partial owner history available, along with some research leads in progress. Great car to restore...Reserve is reasonable. Car is listed locally, so I retain the right to end early if sold outside of EBay ... although I do like to let the auctions run their course.
