One of the nicest 1977 GMC / Chevrolet Trucks available and being sold at NO RESERVE. This truck is 100% smog legal and is California licensed through November of 2018. It has a new 350 cid engine from S&J Engines Inc. of Spokane, WA.. A partial list of the new components installed within the last 500 miles includes the following: new engine, new Quadra-jet carburetor, new weather stripping throughout, New alternator, distributor, coil, ignition module, battery, water pump, cruise control, master cylinder, brake pads, rear drums, rear brake shoes, rear wheel brake cylinders, steering box, fuel tanks (2), complete dual exhaust, back-up warning beeper. New 1977 Chevrolet Grill ( I apologize to all GMC enthusiasts as I was unable to locate a new 1977 GMC Grill ). Headlight doors are original high quality chromed metal. New chrome body trim. New hood insulation pad. The ice cold R-134 air conditioning system is new throughout including a new compressor, condenser, evaporator, heater core, and blower motor. New chrome bumpers front & rear with integral back-up lights and camera. New front and rear windshields & rubber seals. New windshield washer & wiper motor. New GT Brand Mahogany steering wheel. 5 new all terrain tires. New AM/FM/CD/MP3 Radio with Bluetooth & remote control including dual cone high performance front and rear stereo speakers. The original steering wheel and sliding rear window will be included with the sale. The perfectly functioning automatic transmission and full-time four wheel drive transfer case provides the following operating ranges: Low Lock, Low, Neutral, High, High Lock. This truck features the very desirable full instrumentation with large factory tachometer option. All gauges, electronics and lights are functioning properly. The interior, while not 100% perfect, does features beautiful solid oak door and passenger side dash panels finished in marine grade spar varnish, nice upholstery, carpet and dash pad. There is also a dual cup holder accessory which slips into the ash tray. The base coat / clear coat Mahogany Brown Metallic Paint is 6 months old and is spectacular in appearance and quality, costing over $7,000, which included a spayed on bed liner. Receipt and warranty documents for the body & paint work will be provided to the buyer. This truck originally came from Las Vegas and had very minimal rust in the usual areas at the rear bottom of the doors and wheel wells. All of these areas were cut out and repaired during the painting process. Now for the down side: While this truck is a pleasure to drive, and I do drive it almost every day, it has, in the last 3 months, twice stopped running while idling at a stop. Allowed to sit for a few minutes, it starts up and drives normally. Due to the fact that it happens so infrequently and does not persist, I have not been able to pinpoint the cause. This is the only mechanical issue with this truck. Just about everything on this truck is new so I know the issue is something simple, but I have lost patience and need to recoup some of my investment. As such, someone is going to get an expensive truck at a super low price. All investment documentation verifying that over $29,000 has been invested over a four year period, may be reviewed by prospective buyers by appointment.
