I am selling my 1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport Classic which currently has 144,300 original miles on it. I am the third owner ( I think ) and I purchased this vehicle on June 18, 2013 in it's original factory condition with roughly 123,700 miles on the odometer ( pictures show original condition ). This Jeep was purchased as a project for me to keep busy and as you can see, this Jeep came out very nice and I get compliments on it all the time. The pictures show the condition in which I keep it and the three pictures with the KC running lights on were taken today (2/2/2018) in order to show the current condition of it right now. I have basically replaced or rebuilt everything on this Jeep as well as added the Rough Country suspension and the BF Goodrich Tires and blacked out rims. While this Jeep is in excellent condition it will require an oil change soon ( I may go ahead and do it anyway ) plus the head liner has detached from it's backing on the driver's side of the vehicle. During the summer or when the Jeep is warm, the head liner tightens up but when it is cold the liner will sag. Other than that, this Jeep needs absolutely nothing and I mean absolutely nothing. New Starter plus installation $213.59 Total $9,125.73 I forgot to mention that the power door locks started to act funky. The issue is that when it is warm ( lately 40 degrees is warm ) the doors buzz when you press the lock button but when it gets cold ( like it is now ) they work just fine. I do not know what is going on but it has just started to act that way and if it were warmer I would see if I could fix it. Lastly, according to the Kelly Blue Book value for my area in Western Pa., this Jeep should sell for $3,500 if I was to sell it myself but I admit that I am not willing to give up all the money that I put into this Jeep. I found other Jeeps similar to mine online that were listed for anywhere from $8,000 to $10,000 dollars. The key here is that these Jeeps are listed for 8 to 10 grand but what they sold for is a different thing. If you are interested in this Jeep I can assure you that you can purchase it with confidence as I can prove that this Jeep is actually as I am describing it. Lastly, I simply state that you will not find a Jeep like this that includes a complete history of all the work done to it that is still in extremely good condition.
