This is a very nice Diesel Mercedes. I have owned it for about 7 years, 3 of which it was my daily driver. I took it off of the road a few years ago to begin restoring it and have done quite a bit of work on it. Here are some of the things that have been done. Valve adjustment New upper and lower radiator hose and thermostat when the radiator was flushed Rebuilt vacuum pump New fuel line bleeder Rebuilt and balanced injectors New oil pan gasket Too many new vacuum components to name (yes it shuts off with the key) New Engine and Transmission Mounts Battery less than 6 months old This car runs very well and is in very good shape as long as you aren't expecting a show piece. The paint shines up very nicely. There is a slight bit of body damage as shown in the picture. This consists of a dent in the passenger door, an abrasion on the rear passenger door and some rust on the back wheel wells. Even with that being said it is still one of the better cosmetic specimens I have seen of it's type outside of California. The interior is in excellent shape except for the rear carpet which will need cleaned or replaced. It never bothered me enough to replace it but I was never trying to turn this in to a show car. It has relatively low miles at 158k. The brake pads and rotors will need changed because it has been sitting for a while and it will need a new exhaust. I am trying to represent this excellent car as truthfully as I can. I know quite a bit about these cars and what they are reasonably worth. I am not trying to charge an arm or a leg but I am not going to give away one in this condition. This is a fantastic price for a car that needs just a little bit of love to come back to life. Less
