Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a 2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (LJ/TJU) Engine: 4.0 inline six motor with 110K miles. Recently changed the oil with Mobil 1 Synthetic and replaced the water pump, fan belt, thermostat, and radiator hoses. Transmission: 6 speed manual transmission. Clutch is good and shifts smoothly Driveline: Dana 30 front axle with 4.88 Yukon gears and Eaton E-Locker, Dana 44 rear axle with 4.88 Yukon gears and Eaton E-Locker, NP231 transfer case with slip yoke eliminator and Novak cable shifter, double-cardan rear driveshaft, front driveshaft was recently rebuilt by Smith Offroad, and 1" motor mount lift. Suspension: Factory suspension with Savvy Offroad adjustable aluminum upper rear control arms. Wheels/tires: 265/70/16 Firestone Destination tires, 16” Rubicon Moab wheels, full size spare. Armor: Savvy Offroad aluminum under armor (full skid plate from the front of the motor to the rear of the transfer case that raises the belly of the jeep up about 4"), Poison Spyder aluminum crusher corners (with LED tail lights and reverse lights), and Warrior Products steel rock sliders. Body/interior: patriot blue exterior with khaki interior, 1.25" JKS body lift, factory 6 disc CD player, cruise control, full doors, factory soft top with sunrider option (wired for hard top as well) Everything works on the jeep (air conditioning blows cold and the heater works great). No check engine lights, leaks, issues or rust. Also have receipts for the gears/lockers. Jeep would make a great daily driver or weekend wheeler. The reason I am selling this jeep is due to the manual transmission. I've had two surgeries on my left knee and can no longer drive a manual. If it was an automatic, I'd keep it for sure and continue building it. I recently purchased an identical 2005 Jeep Wrangler LJ with an automatic transmission, hence the only reason I'm selling this one. Whoever buys this jeep could put less than $2,000 into it (small suspension lift and 33" or 35" tires) and it would make a great trail rig. It's geared for 33" to 37" tires, which gives the future owner the ability to choose how big they want to go. Clean Texas title in hand and inspection valid until November 2018.
