2015 Golf R with 18,900 miles Modified Bought the car new in June of 2015. White Pearl with all options and a DSG transmission.It was my daily driver until November of that year when I took it off the road to avoid the winter salt and snow. The car has still never seen snow or salt and rarely rain. It became a project last summer when it had 15,500 miles on it. With the help of Alex Wentworth of Wentworth Motorsports and APR we have created something quite special. Alex and I are both perfectionists, nothing on this car has been half assed. My goal was to create a true sleeper that could run with anything this side of a $200k supercar. We have indeed met that goal. This car has never been raced or tracked. I have all invoices and receipts for the car All of the work was performed by Alex himself who has been featured in several magazines over his career and exclusively works on VW’s. Parts alone total over $24,500 with an additional $6,000 in labor in this build. I will list everything at the end. What we have finished with is a little white monster that is well behaved. We worked closely with APR to ensure that we did not overpower the vehicle and have been running it with a conservative tune that gives us a bit over 450 wheel hp. It can make 536 wheel hp on race fuel. The only negatives:- Small collision with a moped who didn't look to see where he was going in a parking lot. Lower grill insert took the impact from his small tire and popped off a radiator hose. Had the vehicle towed directly to Alex to fix the hose and replace the plastic insert on the lower bumper. -Small dent on driver's a pillar-Tiny rock chip on the roof-Small scuff on the top of the rear bumper next to the rear hatch. I am selling because my wife and I are having a second baby in a few months and I no longer have the time or money to have a toy like this on the side. Even though I have spent over 80k on this car I am not naive and have priced it very fairly in order to move it.
