1999 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 SLT Laramie Quad Cab Short Bed 8.0L Magnum V10 w/ Western Ultra Mount Plow and Color Matched Cap This truck is a beautiful and rare factory Deep Amethyst (Dark Purple) color with only 97,110 miles on it. It comes with a color matched A.R.E. cap, chrome running boards and a 7.5' Western Ultra Mount plow that functions perfectly. It has an alarm system with keyless entry and remote start. It has a charcoal gray leather interior w/ dark wood trim and most all available options. The interior is in very nice condition with Husky floor mats and includes an 8” subwoofer and amp. The CD player doesn't work but I will include a Bluetooth stereo receiver that works great. The 8.0L Magnum V10 starts right up and runs strong. The Goodyear Wrangler tires are in good condition with a little less than half the tread remaining. The front brakes were recently redone with new calipers, rotors and pads so it stops great. The starter is brand new. The headlights and driving lights were recently upgraded to Silverstar Ultras. The bed is in very good condition with a dodge factory bed liner. The exterior is in very nice condition for its age. It has some scratches but overall looks beautiful. The rocker panels have some rust on the bottoms. The front bumper is dented and the rear bumper is rusty. The undercarriage is rusty but solid. It has current PA inspection until Feb. 2018. The main issue with the truck is the transmission. Recently, it started leaking causing it to slip and the gear selector to be out of sync. Fixing it may be as simple as repairing the leak, adjusting the gear selector and filling it with fluid. If it does turn out to be something more serious and it needs to be replaced you are looking at anywhere from $700 (shipped) for a used trans. to $1,500 (shipped) for a remanufactured trans. These prices are for transmissions currently listed here on ebay, you may be able to find one even cheaper locally. Other things it needs w/ approx. parts costs (from ebay): Shocks (4) (4 Monroe - $105)Emergency brake cable ($25) Rear ABS Sensor ($20) Rear passenger side door unstuck (it's stuck) (?)Rear raise/lower portion of drivers seat not working (?)Overhead vanity lights not working (?)Muffler reinstalled (I have it) (?)AC Serviced (?) Similar Western Ultra Mount plows are selling for $1,500+ here on ebay for the "plow side only". The "truck side" hardware (mount, receivers, wiring, controller) add up to about $1,000. If you deduct how much the plow is worth ($2,500) from my asking price ($4,895), the price I'm asking for the truck itself is comes out to only $2,395! Its current Kelly Blue Book value in "fair" condition is $10,551! (see pics for screenshot). This is a whole lot of bad ass, good looking, loaded up, low mileage truck w/ plow for only $4,895! The truck is able to be driven but I would not recommend it because the trans. is likely a simple fix and driving it home low on fluid could damage it.
