2001 MX-5 Miata ● 6-Speed Manual ● Sport Package ● 99,250 Miles Check This Car Out! I have for sale a highly sought after Hard Top MX-5 Miata. This car is a 2001 Fully Loaded model with 6-Speed Manual Transmission, full leather interior, premium BOSE sound system w/ CD/MP3 player, power windows, AC and Heat. You’ll love driving this spunky rear-wheel drive two-seater with its sporty suspension and short throw shifter, all standard equipment on this model. Background This car was owned by my mom for about 10 years, and she babied it. We live in the Midwest with harsh winters and my mom was adamant about never allowing this car to see “salt” or snow. She has kept this car garaged for the entire winter season and only brought it out in warm weather. The car is completely rust free and is great condition. Interior The interior of this car is made for comfort. The leather bucket seats are plush and breathable. The seats move back far enough to accommodate tall drivers and passengers. There are no tears or splits in the seats, though there is some cracking (see photos). The gauge clusters all function properly and light fully. The red cluster lights add to the sporty feel of the car. The radio and CD player are 100% functional and the speakers sound great. There are no cracks or other known damage to any of the interior panels or dashboard. Power windows and door locks are standard. Exterior The exterior of this car is unique! Go ahead, look around at other Miata’s on the market; VERY few have the exterior flare of this car! The body is equipped with factory ground effects which add to the sportiness and low-profile look. Additionally, the removable Hard-Top is highly sought after and has a much cleaner look than the cloth top and is much more durable. The red paint looks great all around with the exception of some unfortunate oxidation on the driver side rear panel, near the trunk lid (see photos). There is one dent on the front bumper which is completely hidden behind the licence plate. Sporty wheels with good tires are included. Mechanical SOUND! SOUND! SOUND! This car is mechanically sound in every way! My mom always had this car serviced at the dealership. There are no known issues with any of the mechanical, electrical, power-train systems or any other part of this car! This car runs like its new! There is about 99250 miles on this vehicle. HOWEVER, all arrangements and payment for shipping are the responsibility of the buyer.
