CHECK THIS OUT | | | | | | | | | \/ \/ \/ I am selling my 97 Toyota T-1oo SR5 4x4. I was initially not going to sell it. I fixed it all up to keep. I got as far as the paint job, its all that it needs now. The paint still looks really good as you can see , but its original , and there are little chips in places, but nothing too terrible. I was even debating getting the truck painted cause it did look so good and because of it looking so great , besides a few paint chips and things , remember its original, I decided not to. Well jump to a year or so later , and I do not want to but , I am going to sell it. I need some start up cash, that's all. IF some one wants to hear my idea and wants to invest we can talk , and maybe I wont need to sell it lol. I'm just kidding I need $160,000. Anyways let me tell you about the truck, First of all its awesome. I have gotten in and out of places I thought for sure I would be stuck in or lose it , but it never happened. I am the second owner , the first being a Toyota mechanic. He put on front locking wheel hubs for it, which was cool , I didn't have to . I put a ARB Rear Locker, newer cat, muffler system, I rebuilt the back end when they installed the ARB Locker, that was 2 years ago. Rebuilt front end complete, new radiator new brakesnew Jasper Motor with 100,000 mile 3 year warranty , there is 50,756 or 9 months left on the warranty. FULL WARRANTYrebuilt transmission and transfer case, 11month warranty left on thisthe receipts are in the picturesthe interior is new, well 18 months old so I guess not new new Basically the whole truck has been rebuilt , so its like having a brand new truck, with a warranty. they are transferable. On some of the pictures I show a close up of the faded clear coat. The Jasper motor again I wasn't planning on selling it or I wouldn't have put a 5000 dollar motor in it before labor. I just would have got a piece from the dump and threw it in there. IS the best motor I found for this truck, and the warranty was really good. Its still on so that's great for you, and the trans. The only bad thing I guess is its a brand new motor so you wont be needing the warranty. lol. I haven't. But its cool to know that you have it. There aren't to many of these trucks on the road that I have seen that looks as good as mine. Well none really . Also when I went out 4 by in , I was with my family , so its not like I drove the thing hard or tried to break the truck. I used it to get to work. At the same time , when I went there were very few places I couldn't go. Like only places a Jeep could go type. I never took it rock crawling , just Glamis, which was the main attraction, or truck haven type places. I can't stress enough how well your truck runs (sorry a little presumptuous). The mileage is pretty good as well. No matter how I drive fast slow what not , I always hover right at 300 for a tank. Highway if that's all I'm doing I get the best is 343. All the fluids gets changed regularly and I use full synthetic. The tire are at about 60% tread life I Have just about 13,000 into it , and I hope you all enjoy an all out bidding war , remember its for the kids, lol or yourself, hell I'm 40.
