Vehicle Detail
The Cutlass is a 1972 S model tribute with 442 badges and a brand new 500+ HP engine with less than 500 miles. It's a great looking car and very fast. A lot to list but here's the highlights below. I have over $27K in this car. Immaculate fire engine red paint and very straight body Fiberglass removable hood; there are a couple of marks in paint around where the pins hold the hood down No body damage, or dings or dents on the body Corbeau front racing seats and belts. Auto meter liquid filled gauges; volts, fuel (needs to be hooked up), temp and oil plus large RPM gauge 2 inch Flowmaster exhaust Sway bars and aftermarket shocks Oldsmobile spoiler New carpet 442 steering wheel and grills Trunk mounted racing fuel cell Ceramic coated Hooker Headers Fully rebuilt 455 engine bored over .60 less than 500 miles All engine parts are top of the line; Edelbrock heads, Quadrajet carb (electric choke), Holley intake, MSD ignition, Harlan Sharp rollers and more. Engine was built by a local engine builder who builds Oldsmobile race cars. 500+ HP with 550 lbs torque. Very fast. 3 speed Hurst floor shifter BeCool radiator with 4500 CFM Derale pusher fans Tall valve covers Pertronix ignition module Aluminum pulleys Edelbrock breather New Holley electric fuel pump and filter 160 amp Tuff stuff alternator 350 Turbo transmission with shift kit (shift kits allow the car to "chirp" the tires when the transmission switches gears at high RPM) and 2500 stall Eaton posi trac 373 gears New master cylinder, booster and brakes just done all the way around Craigar wheels and Dunlop tires with lots of tread Center console Recent inspection and oil change New chrome battery tray and new chrome brake master cylinder There's a couple things needed to make this car perfect so contact me to discuss if you like. We're relocating and my wife said I cannot spend any more $ on this car, I've already spent nearly twice as much as I'm asking for it. The things it needs are priced into what I am asking and you or any mechanic can fix these things. - MSD ignition is faulty and sending an extra spark, leading to backfiring sometimes. $180 part and will take less than an hour to replace. - Carb tuned after ignition is replaced - Shift kit in transmission removed unless you like to give it lots of gas off the line. At low speeds the kit kicks going from drive to second. This is a race car and was built to go fast... but you can have someone remove the kit to make it more like a daily driver. Its a matter of preference. This is a great looking race car and gets lots of looks. Runs great right now, sounds awesome.
