I have up for sale a BONE stock 04 lightning yellow SSL package Evo 8. The car has never been modified, owned by an older gentleman since new. It has 13,30x miles on the ODO, carfax verified The Car mechanically is PERFECT. Runs like A top, quiet, no noises. I have never driven an Evo that has no decel noises, or is just so quiet And easy to drive. The stock clutch is perfect, the trans shifts like butter through all gears. No suspension noises, tracks straight and true. It does have newer continents DWS tires and new pads and rotors. The timing belt and water pump were done on the car about 700 miles ago prior to the owner passing. I don’t have a receipt to prove it, but its not a big deal. Interior is fairly clean. Door panels are mint. The seats were not leather conditioned as they should have been, so they do show a bit of shrinkage. I have conditioned them multiple times since I have had it, and they have softened up, and relaxed a bit. The body of the car is also fairly clean. It has a few scratches, nothing major. It’s not perfect FULL disclosure. The car was backed into while parked by a county vehicle back in 2008. The driver fender, bumper, and headlight were replaced. The hood was not replaced, it maintains its vin tag. It was VERY minor, but, it does have a replacement fender and had paint work on it. It shows on carfax as a minor hit, it appears this was listed on carfax twice, the original owner's friend who I purchased the car from, insisted it was only in once accident, this story is supported by the person who serviced the car over it's life. No one has any insight as to why the same incident is reported twice over a distance of nearly 5 years on carfax. The person who I bought the car from, a friend of the original owner, did go around the car with touch up paint and try to touch up rock chips etc, it doesn't look great, could use retouched. Of course no airbag deployment or anything of that sort. For that reason i have priced the car where I did. If it was an original paint Car in perfect shape, it would be low 30s. This is a car that you can do a few mods to because it’s not a gem Car, and have a low miles, unmolested Car. It’s MUCH more difficult to find unmolested Car than a no paint work car.
