For sale is my 1981 Maico 490. I have had the bike since 1994, purchased from the original owner and won a Texas Evo Vintage Championship in 1998 with it. This was prior to AHRMA having newer machine classes. The bike sat in my living room since then and decided to restore it recently. Everything has been restored to new condition. The engine has been completely rebuilt with NOS parts I had obtained from Rick and John at Northwest CZ Maico. Also, parts were obtained from Lynn at Rage Racing. Jessup Sportcycle did the engine rebuild. The bike has been heat cycled and run up and down the street. It has not seen the dirt.
