For sale is my 2006.5 Volkswagen Jetta. Originally purchased as a commuter car and vehicle for my college aged kids. I bought with 121K miles and ran it for about 4 very reliable years. Installed new timing belt kit at 125K miles as I was not sure if this was ever done by previous owner. New oil and filters installed just prior to this listing. New VW OEM battery installed last year. Recent New York State inspection(see photo). Included in sale are 4 General Altimax Arctic snow tires with approximately 5000 miles on them. My college student sons attended school in snow country; the car handled very well in snow conditions. There are no mechanical issues with vehicle, current summer tires are in good condition. All electronics, heat, AC, sunroof, radio function as normal. The radio is after market, the OEM radio is included with vehicle. Jetta OEM rubber floor mats in front, rear, and trunk. My recent graduate son just purchased his own vehicle so we don't need this car anymore. It was driven every day for the past year with no issues, very reliable. Flaws as seen in photos: right rear fender paint is rubbed, right front fender has minor paint blister. Body is sound and rest of paint is in good condition, minor scratches do exist but no serious dents or cracks. Driver seat has some cracking and steering wheel has worn finish. Engine runs good, it does rattle at idle but it is a diesel after all. Transmission shifts good and performs well. Fuel mileage is 45+ on highways - you can go long way without refueling. If you are looking a for good used car, winter rat, college kid car, or just a fuel efficient run-a-bout; this is worth bidding on.
