Vehicle Detail
1984 Toyota Supra RARE VERY LOW MILEAGE - Only 37,664 miles on the 5MGE engine (original)- Original owner- Mk II P-Type - 5 Speed Manual Transmission- Leather seats are in good mechanical condition, but leather is dried and cracked in several places (see photos).- Driver seat has the 3 section inflatable lumbar support (hand pump and 3 buttons on the side)- Original Toyota Car Stereo w/cassette and graphic EQ.- Original alloy wheels.- Toyota Repair Manuals This is a great project car. Sold "as is". Very low mileage, was in good running condition, but wasn't driven for several years and was in the process of being restored. Have repair manuals including the full Toyota Shop Manual (used by repair shops): - Sunroof: The headliner was removed to repair sunroof. The sunroof motor works, but the plastic part on the cables that attached to the sunroof to open and close it need to be re-attached or replaced. The headliner was taken apart carefully and kept all pieces to restore it. - Fuel line: The starter is good and the engine turns over, but the fuel line needs to be cleaned out, so the car will need to be towed.- Hasn't been driven in years, but moved occasionally (was in process of being restored).- Car needs to be repainted (paint is faded & cracked in several areas). - Rear hatch operates (pistons hold hatch open and wiper / washer work), but has rust-through and lock damaged. This is a great car for a Supra enthusiast looking to restore an original low mileage 1985 Mk II P-Type. On Nov-30-17 at 06:43:15 PST, seller added the following information: There is no "Buy Now" price, it's an auction with NO RESERVE, will go to the whoever bids the highest. On Dec-02-17 at 14:29:08 PST, seller added the following information: FAQs I've been getting: Q: Can you sell me the seats? ...the wheels? ...the instrument panel? ...engine? ...transmission? etc..A: No, I'm selling the whole car (with all parts). Q: Is it the original engine? ... Is it the original body?A: Yes, I'm the original owner and I haven't changed or rebuilt the engine, it's an original 1984 (mfr'd April '84, ordered June '84 see photo below) and has 37k miles. I have the original window sticker and original invoices. Q: Can I take it for a test drive? ... Will I be able to drive it home?A: No, it's not in a condition to drive away "as is". I mentioned in the description that the car needs to be towed (or trailered). It was running fine until a few years ago, and hasn't been driven since. There's probably a clog in the fuel line (most likely from old gas). The last time we tried, it started & turned over when jumped and using starter fluid, but no fuel is getting to the intake to keep it running. My son (a mechanic) was going to help me fix & restore it, but unfortunately neither of us have the time to work on it now. This car should go to someone who's willing to put in some effort to restore it and get this classic car road worthy again. Here are some more photos:
