READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BIDDING. LAZINESS IS ON YOU.NO RESERVE!!! AS IS!1988 Fiero Formula, 5 spd, 3.1 V6 with forged pistons a rods, turbo, aftermarket dash, side air intakes and upper wrap around intakes, seats are in great shape.I bought the Fiero in August, 2001 from the original owner/builder and put about 5,000 miles on it. It has been sitting in my garage for the past 12 years, without running (DOESN'T RUN). Why it was parked: #4 cylinder fouls out and the after market ignition system is junk. The stock brain is still in the car. The turbo is set up for 10lbs of boost and I ran it off 100 octane. All of this can be dialed back, changed or swapped. It is beyond my wrenching abilities. NO SHIPPING! MUST BE PICKED UP WITH TRAILER!On Nov-20-17 at 17:05:56 PST, seller added the following information: Question: Hi, how many miles are actually on the car? How was the clutch the last time you drove it? How is the undercarriage, Is there any major rust. ThanksAnswer: Miles: the stock gauges were replaced by the digital ones. I was told the car had around 45k original miles on the body & trans when I purchased it, and I put about 5k on it myself. I have zero paperwork to support this. When it was driving I had zero clutch issues, it felt good.No major rust. Just some surface rust (photos attached). Hopefully that helps. See Vehicle History Report - ZERO accidents. On Nov-24-17 at 09:50:28 PST, seller added the following information: Updated Q & As:Question: I can’t tell from the picture if the driver’s side fender is damaged or is it just reflections. Answer: No damage to that fender or any other body panel. Some scrapes & scratches. And fading paint on the spoiler. The normal stuff. Question: When you say that the aftermarket ignition system is junk, do you mean its toast or it just sucks? And was the fuel emptied when you stopped driving it or does it have 12 year old gas in it? Answer: The ignition system doesn't work. It didn't control things correctly. From what I understand there is a system called Mega Squirt and there is a version that is self-learning. I don't think I dumped the Fuel. Question: I understand the requirements of pickup for the car but my question is if I were to set up the shipping would I be able to get it picked up? Answer: Yes, you are welcome to set up the shipping. I have talked to a local shipper and he is willing to ship within a few hundred miles for his fee - maybe longer distances, yet you'd have to work that out with him. Question: I am unfamiliar with a 3.1 engine, can you please give more detail. Answer: Disclaimer: I didn't build it - in 2001 when I bought it I was told the original 2.8 was bored, stroked and got a different crank to get to 3.1. I just did a super quick search online and it is possible to take a 2.8 to a 3.1, so I assume that's what the builder did. Also it appears GM made a 3.1 in the early 90s. Sorry not much help on this question.
