I was pretty excited to run across this clean little LOW MILEAGE van - I thought it would be perfect for my cash car lot, as I love to provide solid inexpensive transportation. It was running simply perfect, I put $800 into maintenance to make sure I was selling the car responsibly, and alas, after sitting on my lot for a short time I began to notice an ugly noise! When I revved it, it was obvious, something internal was not right. It sounds like a tap - not top end, but bottom end. It's a crying shame. The tires are nearly new, and I just replaced the valve cover gaskets, intake manifold gaskets, spark plugs, wipers, oil/filter, drive belts, air filter, and the brakes and tires were done at 63k. I guess if you have a nissan quest or mercury villager with a junky interior or just need a spare parts van, this one would be great in every way except the darn lower half of the engine!
