Vehicle Detail
71 westy driver... VW shop put an engine in for me a few years ago had a 1776 and wanted a bit more power so they put in a 1900+cc engine but I don't drive it anymore... runs ... drives... and stops as it should... its a fun head turner for sure ...it can drive as is or you can give it a bit of TCL and make it awesome....your call... I just have other projects going on or I would have it painted and sell it for alot more... camping is Great in this baby... i can send ya more pictures if ya want....this bus has been kept in my garage and not left out to rust away... not perfect but definitely a fun driver.... I do not like the carb the shop put on it i do have a dual carb set up that needs jetted since it's set up for the old engine...On Oct-26-17 at 20:02:49 PDT, seller added the following information: People keep asking to see the closet... yes it's there..and the bed folds down no problem... also asking about rust ... I'm no body man but I don't think it's in bad shape at all the only bad spot I see is the passenger rear corner you can see in the picture I uploaded... underneath is solid no holes or nothing...On Oct-30-17 at 20:22:28 PDT, seller added the following information: I can't believe that the bus is going so cheap... I dropped it off at the VW shop to tune it up and adjust the brakes tonight they freaked that it hasn't gotten more notice since they do all the work on her they were sure it would be close to if not over 10 grand.... my loss and someone's gain..... I guess I have learned to sell with a reserve if I have anything to sell again....anyway I hope she gets a good home...
