Kids . . . no time for my toys anymore . . . For sale is a rare 1971 Chevy Long Bed Stepside pickup. That's right, long 8 foot bed with Canadian Oak planks and matching green spray-on bed liner on the sides and rails. This has the 292 small 6 cylinder engine, so it gets great gas mileage for its age. I am the 2nd owner, having purchased in 2002, then restored in 2004, but I know the entire history of this truck!!! This looks great, but I restored it to drive, not for show. The only rust which needed repaired was on the cab corner under the gas fill. There is no other rust, and the frame is clean!!! Since I restored it, it has been stored indoors, but driven and maintained regularly until just recently. Tires are in great shape.
