You will seldom see a 928 in a junkyard, and you will never see a 1986½ in a junkyard unless that car has been completely destroyed. This 928S fires up on the coldest morning, then takes you down the highway as fast as you dare to go. This renowned speed machine is rated by The Porsche Corporation to travel at a speed of 146 miles per hour, but I tell you from experience that it will do 161. It cost me $1,200 and six points off my driver’s license to find that out. I didn’t even know that state trooper was chasing me until I slowed down to 130. The black 928S you’re looking at, it will do that, but only if you let it. This car is not just a speed machine though, it’s also a very attractive car, it gets decent gas mileage too, and if that’s not enough, it’s a chick magnet. So, if none of this is what you’re looking for, you’re looking at the wrong car. And in case you’re wondering, the only reason I’m selling this fabulous machine is that I need some cash. Now, here’s the bad news: The odometer quit working a few years ago, and later somebody broke into the car and stole the radio, neither window works, the dash has some cracks in it, the a/c does work, but the a/c fan motor stopped blowing.
