Vehicle Detail
1966 Dodge Dart GT convertible. 123K miles. Engine;225 3.7 liter slant six with automatic transmission. Manual drum brakes. Power steering. White with black top and interior. Bucket seats & console. This car is a nice unmolested example. The only changes were replacing the radio (USB & AUX so you can use your IPOD, IPHONE or MP3) and the speakers (see pics) dash was NOT cut for radio install and the original radio comes with the car. Aftermarket antenna. There is an older paint job on the car, the carpet was replaced years ago too. It looks like an older restoration. Everything works; lights, horn, wipers, speedo/odometer, turn signal cancels properly, heat, defogger, power top. New wheel cyls front and rear, new front brake hoses and rear brake lines, new rear shoes, new emergency brake cables left, right and center, new water pump, new tires, new horns, new valve seals, new starter relay, new horn relay, new trunk mat, new floor mats. Car drives, shifts, stops and handles extremely well and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere and I mean anywhere...this is as dependable as they come. The convertible top shows well however it has a small cut (2") that has been repaired. I would replace the exhaust system even though it is not leaking because it's old. Interior shows very well. Exterior looks nice. No fluid leaks. Nice daily driver or complete restoration project. No cancerous rust but if you look inside the driver side fender you can see where it is rusted on top and a poor repair was done where the fender and inner fender meet under the hood. Some spots of rust here and there. Floor boards and trunk look great with no holes. The jack and spare are there. The car is stored inside or if stored outside its under a breathable cover so it is dry. Water leaks through the cowl which is common on Mopars. Any questions please ask. It's a real nice car and a safe dependable car. Drives well shows well but it's NOT a show car. You can enjoy it as is or restore it for a show car... the value is there whether you choose to restore it or buy and enjoy as is. Must be paid in full within 3 business days of auctions end. 100.00 deposit due immediately with paypal. shipping is up to customer. Payment must be CASH, wire transfer or bank check
