Vehicle Detail
NO RESERVE! One of a kind! This is hands down one of the nicest vehicles I have had the pleasure of owning. The pictures do not do this car justice. The title Grandpa's Mustang says it all. This still rides and drives as nice as a stock Grand Marquis with many custom additions to give it that extra get up and go. The miles on the vehicle are original. Carfax an Auto check will back that up. The short story on the history of the car is the first owner drove the vehicle up until 34k miles. It then sat for 17 years in a covered garage until the 2nd owner purchased it and created what you see here. I am the third owner of the vehicle and have not made any major mechanical modification or changes since I purchased it. This list of modifications include: 1. E303 Cam2. Full Summit Racing Exhaust. (Knock off Flow Masters but sounds amazing.)3. 3:73 gears with Posi Rear. 4. Bored heads 30 over5. Edlebrock Intake and Carburetor6. Long Tube Headers7. Full stereo speaker system with amp and small sub.8. 20% tint all around. (Will not pass MD Inspection)9. Mickey Thompson 245/60/15 in front 255/60/15 rear.10. Custom Pin Striping by hand. 11. Full custom paint. You will not find a paint line anywhere on this vehicle. I still have all of the original top end parts to the motor that will be included with the sale. The car is set up to be driven. It runs, drives, shifts, stop as it should. I would not hesitate to drive this vehicle anywhere. It has a 14 gallon tank and I average around 15 MPG between city and highway. I have not changed any of the modifications because I am beyond pleased with the current mechanical set up. It is fast off the line but rides smooth and steady on the highway. You can cruise at 75 mph, take your hands off the wheel, and the car basically floats straight down the road. I am more than happy to show the vehicle prior to the sale and would strongly encourage serious buyers to view, drive, an inspect the vehicle. Mechanics are more than welcome as well. I welcome any and all questions. If I do not have the answer the previous owner and I are still in touch and can quickly find out for you. A few items to mention for full disclosure. These in no way alter the vehicle performance but I want to makes sure any thing the vehicle needs is addressed. 1. The low pressure AC line will need to be replace. It has a leak. 2. Headliner has about a 3 inch hole in the center.3. Driver side mirror does not move with the electrical switch on the door. 4. Passenger side seatbelt sticks when you pull the belt all the way out. 5. After 2 broken hood emblems I finally decided to JB Weld the third on into place. I have a box full of interior parts, an extra side view mirror, and car emblems that come with the vehicle as well. I just listed the vehicle for sale locally so I do reserve the right to cancel this auction at any time. I have described this vehicle to the best of my knowledge, however it is for sale in "as is" condition with no warranty expressed or written. I have a clean and clear title in my name. I am located 45 minutes from 3 major airports and will happily assist with picking the buyer up from either Baltimore, Reagan, or Dulles Airport. I am more than happy to assist with shipping arrangements as well. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any and all questions. Happy Bidding.
