WINTER IS COMING...NO GARAGE ROOM .....MUST SELL!!!! 89 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 Convertible, AOD, 119000 miles. This is a one owner car. Has around 1200 miles on the rebuilt 306 Ford engine , Howards Cam and roller lifters, Howards Double roller timing chain, Heads ported they are the pedestal mounted, Summit 70mm Throttle Body, 70mm Air Flow Sensor, Cold Air Intake, Throttle position sensor, Idle sensor, new Water Pump and Cover, Intake Ported, New Plugs, Wires, Cap, Rotor. Cat Back Exhaust, new H-Pipe, Posi-Trac rear 331 gears, The car runs strong and in good shape. It will need a upgraded distributor a high fast spark rated one and coil. The oem distributor that's in there now due to its age, is having a hard time not firing fast enough in the modified engine. Also should look into a tuner chip, as most Mustangs have problems with the oem computer adjusting to the new engine upgrades and cam specs. A tuner chip will help the computer out and also add 20-30hp. The interior seats are worn/old, same as interior door fabric was faded worn should be replaced. I just have a good set of seat covers over them and looks good and the interior door panels, used fabric black spray on them to make them look decent. The paint on the car is in good shape, has its small dings and a chip here and there, that's expected on 28yr old paint. Tires have about 90% thread life left. A great starter car if your looking to do a total rebuild or if not after a couple small upgrades its ready for car shows and cruises.
