1988 Ford 1-ton Crewcab dually XLT Lariat pickup truck for sale: Runs well. I've owned since 2009 and have driven it less than 7000 miles. Mostly used it for towing a car trailer and hauling miscellaneous stuff. Full size 8-foot bed with Duraliner bed liner. Power windows (front) and power door locks. Chrome running boards. Body is in great shape. Dual gas tanks. Manual 5-speed transmission. Tilt steering wheel. 10,000 pound tow hitch receiver. Strong running 7.5L (460ci) EFI gas engine. Duralast Platinum (AGM) battery. Registered in Maricopa County, AZ. Emissions good through 03-2018. Clean title. Known mechanical problems with this truck: A/C blows warm. Appears that all the A/C components are intact. Previous owner (in 2009) said it blew cold when he added freon, but that the freon had leaked out. Small power steering pump low-pressure-side hose leak. Minor annoyance; just need to refill periodically with PS fluid. Parking brake lever does not latch. Ignition actuator rod broken (have replacement). Common problem on these older Ford trucks (see YouTube). Push-button starter switch is currently used for starting. Turn signal does not latch in one direction. Still blinks, but the driver needs to hold it in place. Driver's side power door lock actuator is broken. Lock still works fine though; just can't unlock the driver's door using the switches on the front doors. Switch knobs missing for headlights and windshield wipersVery old spare tire. In addition, there are plenty of cosmetic flaws. Could also use some new weatherstripping here and there. Not bad for a 30-year-old truck though.
