Selling my 2008 VW GTI. All the basics are in the pre-filled description. Black Magic Pearl exterior, gray/black cloth interior. Car is equipped with "Package 1", which has the interlagos (plaid) cloth seats, the power sunroof and satellite radio. 6 speed manual transmission, 2 door car. 72772 miles as of today (may go up some, but not much). Oil changes are up to date. Cam follower and clutch were changed at 60k miles. This car has been in my extended family since new. Car was purchased back in 12/2007 by my cousin, and I took it off his hands at the end of 2012. It's time for me to let this go, as I have another vehicle to drive, and doesn't make sense to keep 2 similar cars. The car has some modifications. Here is a list of what I remember. Carfax clean, no accidents. It does have it's fair share of bumps and bruises. I did my best to take pictures of everything. I drove this car to and from the city (I work out here and my child goes to school here), and sometimes parked on the streets of NYC, hence the scratches and what not. The clearcoat on the wheels are peeling a little bit, and some of them do have rash, but they are all straight with no balancing issues. Tires are less than a year old. Brakes were done about 2 years ago. No check engine or warning lights on. I would trust this thing driving cross country without a cell phone. Starts up and drives every time, without issues. AC is super cold, heat is hot. The only thing that needs attention, and it's minor, is the AWE boost gauge. The front face of it fell off, and that messed up the needle a bit. A simple swap with a new gauge would fix this. The car does have the RNS-315 navigation head unit in it, from a MK6 GTI. Great unit. The car drives very solid. Not much more to say about it. This is something you can just put gas in and go. I will have the oil changed before sale, so you can have a fresh 3000 miles. Exhaust on the car is fairly quiet. I will include another SPM muffler with the sale, which would make it even quieter if desired. Clean NJ title in hand. No liens. Ready to go today. I believe I have both remote keys for this car. All of the original manuals/booklets are in the glove box, in its pouch that it originally came in. Original window sticker may be in there as well. The car is sold as-is, without any warranty, expressed or implied. The car does have the balance of its VW corrosion (rust) warranty, which I believe is 12 years, unlimited mileage from original purchase date (12/2007). The car is not rusted anywhere, but in case it does in the next 2 years or so, you're covered. This is a no reserve auction, so winner gets the car.
