i bought this at an estate auction a couple years ago,it looks to have been redone as a daily driver it had sat in storage for 6-8 years after the man passed he had 4-5 beetles his wife gave them away to the kids over the years when she passed this was the last one, body work looks good has a few chips from storage i looked the outside of the body over and dont see any bubbling but it comes from iowa so am sure there is rust but it apears to be a solid old bug, the interior is good headliner has ac couple holes not ripped up ,my wife has a bad hip so its hard for her to get in and out of so i am not going to spend the time to make it roadable i did start to bring it out of retirement i replaced fuel tank sending unit and the carb flushed the fuel system it starts and runs good but after running a while it sputters and looses power would guess weak fuel pump but will start and drive onto trailer,i did replace muffler, i did replace the master cyl , all 4 wheel cyl and the rear brake lines,has good pedal and stops must still need some adj as it does pull to the rt on harder braking, i have gone through and most all the lights work,it has an after market radio that dosnt work the horn dosnt work,and tires need replace worn and weather cracked if you are or know a vw beetle guy i'm sure it wouldn't take much to make it road worthy . if you have any questions or would like to look at it just email, cash is king buti do use pay-pal but if the car sells and you want to pay for it with PP you will have to pay their fees, i have a good title in my name plates are current, i will only list it for a short time if it dosnt sell its going into storage. if you buy and pay for it theres no rush to pick it up but i assume no responsibility for it after its payed for,thanks for looking . buy it spend the winter tinkering her back and have a fun daily driver and cruise night car. remember its over 40 years old so being sold as is ,i have listed a deposit but if you contact me and are picking up and paying cash in resonable time i'm flexable
