This is the reason I parked this about 3 years ago, but never got around to pulling the engine to repair. Since I purchased a newer 2010 F150 with the same reliable 5.4L Triton V-8 earlier this year, it is time to let this go to another home. Otherwise, engine runs well, and does not use/leak oil. I always use Pennzoil full synthetic oil in all of my vehicles.Brakes - As this has been setting and moving only a few feet in my driveway, the pedal now sinks near the floor, but builds up afterwards; I believe this either the master cylinder internal seals and/or caliper. The front brakes now seem to grab; I believe this may be the calipers and/or the slides need to be cleaned and relubricated. MUST BE HAULED AWAY, NOT DRIVEABLEOTHER NEEDS:Tires - Still legal tread, but should replace soon. Spare tire is like new.Windshield - has a crack extending from a bullseye, but well below the field of vision.Rear Windows - both rear door window motor cables unwound, so I unplugged the motors. Cables should be able to be rewound, or entire window regulator can be replaced ~$50/each.Sunroof - can open in Tilt mode, but cannot open in Slide mode. This is a common issue w/ Ford sunroofs, repaired with a $120 repair kit.If you look real close, rust is just starting in the cab corners (see photos), which is typical of a 17 year old truck, even with Ziebart rustproofing.
